Studio craft

Cut vinyl, from vans to wedding mirrors.

Campervan graphics, de-chroming, van lettering, shop windows, and wedding table plans, seating charts and welcome signs on glass and antique mirrors. Ready-made lives on Etsy and eBay. Custom starts with a photo and a brief.

We cut, weed and apply. You can collect a ready-to-fit kit, or we fit it here. Typical custom turnaround is 5–7 working days once artwork is signed off. Ready-made shop items ship in 2–3. Local fitting from Unit 2, Mintsfeet Rd S; we ship UK-wide.

Campervans

Graphics that follow the body, not a clip-art kit.

Lakes roads, salt, rain and car-park doors. Camper vinyl has to survive being used. We design around the panel gaps, the swage lines and the windows, then cut for T5, T6, T6.1, California and other campers. If you have a T4, a T25 or something converted from a panel van, send photos and we will tell you what will sit cleanly.

  • Side stripes and two-tone colour splits
  • Name, number and discreet identity graphics
  • Partial wraps and colour-change panels
  • Replacement of tired factory or aftermarket kits

We will not sell you a gecko, a compass rose or “Adventure awaits” unless you actually want it. Most of the vans we like best are quieter than that.

De-chroming

Black the brightwork. Keep the original underneath.

De-chroming, or chrome delete, is wrapping the shiny trim in automotive vinyl so the van or car reads as one colour. Window surrounds, grille bars, door handles, mirror caps, roof rails and badges. Satin, gloss or matt black, or a colour match to the body.

It is reversible. The chrome stays. That matters on a lease, a van you might sell, or trim that would cost more to replace than to cover. Paint chips; vinyl can be lifted. We wrap rather than spray because the finish has to look factory around seals and tight radii, not like a Friday-night dip.

  • Window surrounds and belt-line trim
  • Grilles, handles and mirror caps
  • Roof rails and bumper brightwork where the surface will take film
  • Prep, tuck and post-heat so edges stay down

If the chrome is pitted or peeling, we will say so. Covering failed plating is a short-term fix. Bring the vehicle in and we will tell you what is worth wrapping.

Vehicles

Lettering that can be read at 30mph.

Work vans, fleet sides, magnetic-look layouts that are actually permanent vinyl. Name, trade, phone, a mark that does not fall off at Shap. We can supply cut vinyl for you to apply, or fit it here after a wash and degrease.

  • Car and van lettering
  • Simple livery and one-colour identities
  • Full or partial wraps by enquiry
  • Laptop, tool-chest and small-run stickers

Weddings

Table plans, welcome signs, names on glass.

Cut vinyl on mirrors and glass: the piece you lean at the door, not a foam board that warps in a damp barn. Table plans, seating charts, welcome wording, unplugged-ceremony notes, bar menus, and the couple’s names. We work from your guest list and a photo of the mirror so the type actually fits the frame.

  • Table plans and seating charts on antique or plain mirrors
  • Welcome signs, order of the day, and bar or gift notes
  • White, gold, black or a colour matched to the stationery
  • Supply ready to apply, or we fit it in the studio

You keep the mirror. The vinyl can come off after the day if you want the glass back. Send the guest list as a spreadsheet or a tidy list. We will set the columns so nobody is hunting for Auntie Jean at table fourteen.

Windows & walls

Glass, walls, one clean application.

Shop windows in town, frosted privacy bands, opening hours that can be changed without a painter. Inside, cut vinyl on painted walls: logos, wayfinding, a line of type that sits flat.

We handle cutting, weeding and application, or we send a ready-to-apply pack with transfer tape and a simple fit note.
